I have my students sign contracts w/ me and particular forms prior to gaining access to my tech toys.
They need to know about :
1. copyright laws-how to document sources
2. Know that when I am talking, they are to put them down and listen.
3.appropriate resources, consequences for inappropriate behavior and web surfing.
I like the idea of a contract. It gives you the opportunity to talk about digital citizenship and you will have their attention while doing it.
