I explored most of these things in 23 things but the speller was not there. I can have my students use this when they creat personal fitness programs.
I use Big Huge Labs all the time and love it.
I also wordle and it is fun w/ my students.
I have also used a variety of other image generators. I used image chef to make a HF marketing

Animoto is how I got started w/ my tech adventure. great for videos and so much faster than making a movie.
